The North vs The South Barber Battle & Hair Expo is a competition allowing barbers from all over the nation to meet in South... Florida to showcase their barber skills while competing for regional ‘bragging rights.’ With several categories, both skilled and student barbers will have the opportunity to allow audience members to enter the world of barbering. This will provide awareness to the importance of maintaining and living a healthy lifestyle, proper grooming techniques, and education on products and services that are available. Michael Stephens of Topp Cuttaz Barber & Beauty Salon, decided to bring the barber battle to South Florida to add some additional hair flare to the city! With over 25 years of barber experience, Stephens has barbered a vast clientele and even provided mentor-ship. His future plans include franchising and making the barber battle an annual endeavor.
The Battle will consist of barbers competing from the Northern cities to include: New York, Philadelphia, Trenton, DC, Hartford, Boston, Pittsburgh and Richmond to name a few. Southern cities will consist of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, Birmingham, Columbia, Jackson, Baton Rouge, Austin, and Nashville to include others. We will offer expo only admission, general admission to include classes along with a student and main barber battle competition, and VIP options. Hair Industry professionals will be specifically targeted for the hair expo portion to include a variety of hair affairs, from hair styling, designs, products, cuts and natural hair care.
